米国コロラド州ウエスタン・ステート・カレッジ卒業。経営学専攻。プロクター＆ギャンブル、コカ・コーラでマーケティング、コーポレート・トレーニングなどを担当。その後2年間、ヨーロッパ、アフリカ、アジア各国を旅行し、1988年に来日。ライター、ナレーターとして活躍する傍ら、ユニカルインターナショナルで、ビジネスマナーや異文化間コミュニケーション・セミナーなどを行う。91年〜96年には、NHKラジオ「やさしいビジネス英語」講座の講師を務め、その後NHKラジオ『ビジネス英会話』の監修にも携わる。94年に、法人と個人を対象とした割安電話サービス及び割安インターネットサービスの会社テレマトリックスを共同で設立。女性の働く環境問題をライフワークとし、2000年より、欧米と日本で女性エグゼクティブのためのセミナー開発に取り組む。現在ギリシャ在住。既婚、2児の母。
